Sterling Contracting, Inc. provides a number of services throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Canada. Construction Management and General Contracting Services have been the latest growth extension to the Corporation. With years of work experience self performing framing & drywall, rough & finish carpentry, acoustical ceilings and millwork, we have grown into an organization with a staff of more than 100 employees.

From our 24,000 square foot facility located in Farmington Hills, Michigan we produce hundreds of custom wood products which are finished in our on site Paint Facility. In many cases we supply and install these materials, in some cases they are manufactured and then shipped to our Clients who have their own installation crews.
History
Sterling Contracting was incorporated by Owner, Mark Bolitho in 1991. The 9 years prior to that he operated a smaller carpentry company, performing carpentry and drywall services on residential and small commercial jobs. Seeing the growth potential in the commercial contracting part of the Industry a few General Contractors were solicited for work. Sterling Contracting still contracts work for these companies’ years later!
While always looking for ways to better service our clients, we began supplying, producing, and installing Millwork packages. This helped us grow, along with helping us control a part of projects that usually affected our time frame along with the project timing. We currently operate a 24,000 square foot Mill shop at our facility that has more then doubled our sales. The Mill is building a National presence in the Retail and Restaurant Industry.
Over the years Sterling has performed Construction Management and General Contracting Services. Our list of projects includes Auto Dealerships, Buildings, Retail Stores, Restaurants, Office Build out’s, and Residential Homes (10,000 square feet and larger).
